Kuala Lumpur, 22 October 2026 — ALPHV Technologies has won the AI for Insurance Challenge × Tasco, finishing first of nine companies at the programme’s demo day.
The challenge is run by GenAI Fund through BeyondPilot with Tasco, a Vietnamese multi-sector group listed on the Hanoi Stock Exchange, with Microsoft for Startups and Notion as technology partners. Teams were asked to build AI that improves how people buy, carry and claim insurance in Vietnam.
ALPHV pitched against eight other companies from the US, Turkey, Dubai, Taiwan, India and across Southeast Asia. Some already run insurtech platforms for insurers in seven countries; one has raised more than US$772 million and employs over 1,500 people. ALPHV, a founder-led team of 15+ engineers and consultants, came out on top.
The win builds on ALPHV’s agentic AI work in insurance, including a proof of concept with Tasco Insurance that assesses vehicle damage from images and video and prepares the liability assessment and claim report.
